Food Items:

MSS accepts donations of canned and boxed non-perishable food items through out the year.  Your donation will help families from our community who are currently experiencing food insecurity.  In 2006 MSS was proud to distributed over 68,000 pounds of food to local families in need.  Thank you for your continued support of our food pantry!

Non-Food Items:

Mesquite Social Services accepts donations of new and gently used clothing, sheets, towels, and small household items.  MSS is unable to accept donations of large appliances, large furniture items or mattresses.  Items that are not used for client assistance are sold to a local thrift store.  The proceeds from the items are then used to help MSS pay client rent and utility bills.

Special Event Needs:

Christmas Cheer – Every holiday season, MSS collects toys, gift cards and other items for local children in need.  In 2006, MSS partnered with MISD to serve 608 local school-aged children.  Beginning in November of each year, MSS collects new, unwrapped toys, books, teen items and gift cards for this event.
