Mesquite Social Services depends on our volunteers to exceptional service to our clients. MSS accepts individuals needing community service hours. Volunteer Positions

Thrift Store Assistants: Volunteers are ended to help with donations arriving daily. Sorting, cleaning, hanging, pricing, etc.

Food Pantry: Pantry Volunteers assist with food distribution, collection and stocking. Some heavy lifting up to 40 pounds.

Office Assistants: Volunteers who assist with orientation, filing, record keeping, data entry, answering the phones and general office duties are greatly needed.

Hand UP Workshop Instructors: Skilled volunteers needed to assist with one-on-one  tutoring, workshop presentations, evaluations,  basic computer training and GED instruction.

Holiday Helpers: Volunteers needed for Thanksgiving and Christmas to assist with food basket preparation and distribution. Volunteers for our Christmas Cheer program assist with interviewing, sorting, bagging, shopping, toy room setup, and other needed assistance. Volunteering begins early October and concludes second week of December.

Special Events:‚Äč Volunteers assist with fundraisers and community awareness activities. opportunities are available year round.
